One evening I went to a festival with my friend and while we were waiting in line for a not too scary ride I was gripped with terror! Like two straps wrapped around my torso like a vice. My eyes immediately began to scan the crowd and off in the distance I saw a bungee jumper ride and even though it was too far to distinguish I could tell it was a girl. I knew for certain that the girl was not going to jump. Not gunna Not gunna. I told my friend and she insisted that she would have to jump at the end of the count down. We paused to listen to the count down 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. She didn’t jump. My friend turned in amazement “How did you know” I just knew. As we continue to watch the ride operator said something to the girl and I felt the invisible cord that was connecting us was cut and the vise grip on my chest was released and I felt like a valve lever was opened at the bottom of my feet and a gush of water was released. I think she will jump now but this time I am not certain. I no longer have a connection. Count down. She jumps. She appeared jubilant.

Something very real had just happened to me. 

One time I was reading the Bible and I was asking for evidence in my head. My roommate was also sitting quietly in the room and suddenly the casset player that was three paces from either one of us started to play, and this was the kind where you really have to press the buttons down firmly to get it to work.

Another time I was reading another spiritual book, while lying in my bed, and asking for evidence in my head. I suddenly felt a presence behind me at the foot of the bed. My cat who had been curled up at shoulder level was at attention and staring at the foot of the bed. I slowly turned around afraid of what I might see and I saw a shadowy human size shape. Suddenly I heard my roommates 25lb cat thunder down the hall and he stopped abruptly right at my open door and immediately thendered back down the hall in the other direction. At this point in my spiritual journey this experience was very frightening and I told the spirit the "I am not ready yet, please go away." And it went. I had thought I was all breave and ready but when faced with a real spirit I was intensely frightened.
