How has your life changed?
My life has completely transformed. Much of the transformation began before my enlightenment experience. I used to be very angry, difficult and depressed. Through a gradual process of growth, realization and evolution I prepared myself for what was to come. I received a message to prepare. Although I wasn’t sure exactly when I was preparing for I sought out some self-help books and therapy. These influences gave me a useful dialogue which to converse with people who frustrated me. “I feel that perhaps …”
What’s different about how you react in times of stress? Few years ago I often reacted to stress with anger, now I hope that by first reaction is with compassion.
Has your life transformed in any way since you were enlightened? Most of my transformation has occurred internally. I feel connected with God 24/7. That’s not to say that I don’t sometimes get bummed and cranky. But the absolute knowledge that I gained gives me such a different perspective on just about everything.
Did you make a lot of money? No. Money has not been a main focus for most of my life.
I made a decent living as an accounting clerk and have been able to accumulate some savings by living very frugally.
Has your job changed? I used to be an accounting clerk and then I got laid off. I took that as a sign from God that it’s time for change. Now I hope to be able to offer you guidance on your path to enlightenment. I have actually taken some time off from trying to make a living so that I could get my bearings and get used to the idea of being a leader, a teacher, a healer and a counselor. I have had my own business since 2005. I am a Reiki Master/Teacher. I have an office in Orange where I offer several services. Healing and Counseling and soon I’ll be offering classes. I also do house healings which can benefit people who want to manifest a transition.
What were your influences? Probably my greatest influence has been the Nag Hamaddi Library. It is a 2 pound book that actually fell off the shelf into my hands. Even though I could barely understand what I was reading, it introduced me to the concept that it is humanly possible connect with God.
Who were your influences? I was influenced by Oprah Winfrey, Gary Zukov, who wrote Seat of the Soul and taught me to "Practice Compassion," meaning that no one is perfect at something when they first try it so we should keep practicing. I tried it right after reading the sentence. I have also been heavily influenced by popular television and movies. I have made it a practice from learning everything and everyone possible.
How his life for you now? My life is amazingly blessed. I have a wonderful family I am very close with my Mother and my siblings (my Father passed away). I have many amazing friends. I have been blessed with good health. I still have lots of opportunities for growth.
How is life different for you now? I am never lonely. I feel so tangibly the presence of God and Angels and Spirit Guides with me. Even when I am disheartened with life’s challenges I am quickly restored to fullness. I often indulge in a cascade of gratitude.
What’s the biggest difference that this experience has done for your life? The biggest difference is deciding what’s important and what’s important to me as connecting with other people, because each and every one of us is an ambassador for God and finding that god in each and every other person makes me feel closer to God, makes me feel at home and when I’m not connecting with others is when I feel the only side effect of enlightenment, I am homesick.
Why would I want to experience this for myself? You will have to answer that for your self. My incentive was that I remembered several of my past lives and I recognized that I would be repeating the class until I learned all the lessons and I became tenaciously determined that this would be in my last lifetime.
What inspired you? Love! Being able to Love someone, any one, everyone unconditionally continues to inspire me.
Is there anything we need to be wary of on the path to enlightenment? Two things, first, it is important that you are physically prepared. That will mean something different for each person. My experience happened four months after I made a determined effort to add more vegetables to my diet. But I’m still overweight and not in perfect shape. Second, you bear the weight of knowing what you are missing.
In what ways is God in your life today? God is with me and so many ways I couldn’t possibly count them all. God was with me when I went to buy sold out Halloween candy on Nov 1st 2006 and foiled a theft that happened right in front of me. God was with me when I went to investigate a bad smell and found a neighbor praying for God to send someone to her to help her take a blanket to a homeless person. God was with me when I went to a movie and forgot my money and my friend I ran into offered to pay before I said anything. God was with me when I saw a woman at the grocery counting change to buy some ramen noodles and didn’t come up with enough and I offered to buy her some groceries with the cash I had from not paying for the movie.
What’s the most important thing you want to convey? You absolutely have within yourself a wireless connection to God. It’s up to you to activate your service.
